The Corrugated Cardboard Division does not deal in standard packaging. In this segment 99% of our packaging is customer specific. In purely practical terms this means that a large proportion of orders are tailor made for the customer.
For just-in-time deliveries in the Corrugated Cardboard Division we employ Forward Logistic Integration (FLI®). Because customers pass on their short term stock levels and (daily) requirements, we know what they need when. Using this information, we can control not only our production but also deliveries. This means the products systematically arrive at the customer on time without having to hold a large stock. Because the system provides a complete overview of all the stock in the chain, as well as future stocks, (taking future consumption and planned production into account), VPK Packaging Group is able to guarantee that a shortage will never occur in the chain.
The Rigid Board Division too gets absolute top marks for just-in-time delivery:

We have an ample choice of standard packaging available ex-stock: in Belgium and the Netherlands every order is onsite within 24 hours.
Vegetables - Flowers
Our distribution partner Faro delivers every grower’s personalised order from our logistics warehouse in the Netherlands within 24 hours.
