In order to enable the Group to cope sufficiently with the worldwide economic and financial crisis, which has had an impact on all segments of VPK Packaging Group N.V. during the last quarter of 2008, and which will continue to effect us in 2009, the board of directors will propose to the Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders on 24 April 2009, in the interests of the company and due to exceptional events, that no dividend will be paid for the 2008 financial year.
