At VPK Packaging Group, sound management includes ethical grounding. This implies a balanced development and economical, social and environmental growth. As a company, we strive for the following elements: we bring into the market products that meet the real needs of our clients; we assume our responsibility towards the company and the environment, we achieve economical success for our shareholders, and we offer our employees a safe and healthy work environment as well as numerous opportunities for personal development. Finally, VPK Packaging Group takes its social responsibilities to heart as well.

Balanced Development

We are convinced that we must seek, in our strategy and management, a balance between the values expected by our shareholders for their contribution and/or interest. Particularly, we mean that the capital invested by our shareholders, the knowledge and skills of our employees, the business from our clients, the rapid development of the horizontal value chain offered by our partners, and the environment offered by our society, from which VPK Packaging Group can continue to grow. All shareholders expect a fair return for their contribution. We see it as our duty to ensure it.

Legal Responsibility

Undertaking includes legal responsibilities assumed by the Board of Directors. It is therefore important for our Directors to have the right structure. In addition to four executive Directors, five non-executive, independent, Directors are appointed. These Directors were carefully chosen for their experience and expertise, as well as for their integrity, honesty, and reliability.

Efficient Environmental Policy

Lastly, ethical undertaking also means for us applying an efficient environmental policy. Our clearly ecological approach first becomes apparent in our production process: the production of paper and packaging material from recycled paper, and the production of lighter paper. The production of lighter paper results in the production of lighter packaging materials, which in turn results in less packaging waste. In addition, the optimization of our internal production lines is in keeping with our efficient environmental approach. Moreover, we constantly search for opportunities to reduce our use of energy and for means to meet significantly higher standards than those imposed to us by law, including in the areas of waste discharge and waste gas emission, so that our net impact on the environment is continuously reduced.
