Meet Gudrun, prevention advisor for corrugated board Belgium 

At VPK, we want to give our employees opportunities and invest in their further growth. Gudrun Remes' trajectory is a perfect practical example of this. Gudrun has been working at VPK since 2018, when she started as a production supervisor at our Erembodegem site. She herself cherished the dream of growing further if the opportunity arose. No sooner said than done.

Based on her ambition and interest in everything to do with safety and well-being, she applied for the position of prevention adviser for corrugated board Belgium.

As a person and supervisor, she already sympathised intrinsically with her colleagues on the shop floor and was always concerned about the well-being of those around her. Over the past four years, she has also gained a feeling for a production environment and acquired the necessary knowledge. She knows our company and its people very well.

She started her training as a prevention advisor at the beginning of 2022. Each lesson focuses on a particular safety topic, such as industrial accidents or risk detection and identification.
